MADRID - LA CAPITAL DE ESPAÑA supuso mi primer y, por ahora, único libro ilustrado, así como colaborar con Mary Carmen Lafuente Laín. Recuerdo que acababa de terminar "El flautista de Hamelin" y la editorial me ofreció la posibilidad de hacerlo, fue un trabajo complejo ya que tuve que realizar todos los diseños y las 32 ilustraciones a color (más portada, contraportada y guardas) en menos de un mes, aunque luego pude tomarme con algo más de calma mi siguiente obra, Hansel y Gretel.


In this story, you'll be able to explore the city of Madrid, the capital of Spain. You'll learn about its history, anecdotes, and legends associated with its inhabitants, its buildings, unique corners, and famous figures.

MADRID - LA CAPITAL DE ESPAÑA was my first and, so far, only illustrated book, as well as my collaboration with Mary Carmen Lafuente Laín. I remember I had just finished "The Pied Piper of Hamelin" and the publisher offered me the opportunity to do it. It was a complex project since I had to complete all the designs and the 32 color illustrations (plus the cover, back cover, and endpapers) in less than a month, although I was then able to take my next work, Hansel y Gretel, a bit more calmly.
